PRODIGY-ILD

Predicting Outcomes using DIGital TechnologY for Interstitial Lung Disease (PRODIGY-ILD)

Welcome

We invite you to take part in a research study for people with interstitial lung disease. Before you decide if you would like to take part, please review this website along with your patient information leaflet carefully and ask any questions you might have.

Thank you for taking time to consider taking part.

The aim of this observational study is to interpret information collected by a smartwatch and an app used by people with interstitial lung disease.

We are interested in the information we can collect on a smartwatch to see if it shows trends in heart rate, activity levels and blood oxygen over time. We also want to see if we can learn more about the disease symptoms such as breathlessness, coughing and fatigue and how they change over time by collecting this information on an app.

We will put the information from tests done at outpatient clinics together with the study information and see if we can measure if the disease is getting worse.

Wearable digital technology and apps are getting better all the time and can be useful for helping doctors understand and monitor disease.
